For our armed forces…
Mental Health Is Health.

Worthy Minds provides tools and training for the future warfighter

Worthy Minds is dedicated to serving the future of the war by providing the tools and training for the mind of the warfighter as our nation prepares for the next generation of military warfare.

We build products based on research that shape the forward-looking assessments of the trends, technologies, and concepts that will define the support needed to prepare warfighters with mental health challenges they are facing.

As the character of war rapidly changes, we build the leading tools and training needed to effectively support the mind of the warfighter and enhance our country’s military readiness and resiliency.

Our military’s mental health crisis is a national security risk.

  • - The nature of war is increasingly digital and uncertain.
    - Social media blurs the lines between civilian and military life and exacerbates feelings of disconnection for isolated warfighters.
    - Warfighters have shorter times to decompress prior to reintegration into society.

  • - Active duty suicide rates are rising quickly increasing from 20.3 to 28.7 suicide deaths per 100,000 during 2015-2020.
    - Suicide deaths are 4x greater than combat deaths for active duty personnel & veterans since 9/11.
    - Over 60% of active duty service members with mental health issues do not seek treatment due to stigma or accessibility challenges. This is a readiness crisis.

  • - 27% of Generation Z report their mental health as fair or poor. More than seven in 10 Gen Z adults experienced common symptoms of depression during the COVID pandemic.
    - U.S. Army Recruiting believes only 136K out of 33M young Americans would both meet military standards and be interested in enlisting.
    - Universities and corporate America are investing in mental health services more than the military.
